About Southwest DC Wednesday Coed Life Group
We are a coed life group that will be meeting in Southwest DC, near Wharf / Duck Pond, on Wednesday evenings. Our meeting spot is about a 10-minute walk from both Waterfront and L'Enfant Plaza metro stops. We were on pause for the Summer but are starting again in the Fall. Like all life groups this Fall, we will be following the Restore curriculum. All members have gone through the Rooted Curriculum. We are looking to welcome new members who have gone through the Rooted Curriculum, but if you have a unique circumstance, please let us know. We may meet virtually on colder days or days with inclement weather.
This is a participatory, committed group: members actively take part in meetings and are expected to rotate through various leadership roles in support of the rhythms (facilitating discussion, bringing snacks, leading prayer, etc.). It is important to us that you are able to commit regular and consistent attendance throughout the semester. This ensures that we are able to grow as a group and foster community, building trust and understanding among group members. We value that our members come from varied backgrounds and different Christian traditions and seek to embrace that as part of our worship space, in alignment with District Church's mission and values.
